WORLDS ONLY JET TURBINE POWERED BATMOBILE

This is the only Batmobile created that makes fiction reality! It is powered by a military spec turboshaft engine driving the rear wheels through a semi automatic gearbox. It features a custom tube frame/monocoque chassis with fully independent suspension, disc brakes, and a sequential shifter. It runs on kerosene, diesel, or Jet fuel and has a power to weight ratio comparable to a Dodge Viper. The car is registered and insured for the road in the United States. It was built in 2011 by Casey Putsch from Putsch Racing and is now available for purchase at a mere $620,000.

Fabric Type

After posts about fonts made from ordinary stuff and 3D fonts we want to show you another great idea of custom typography from canadian designer Tania Alvarez. She called this work Fabric Type. This experimental art work is created in a unique style and perhaps will be highly evaluated by professional designers.

A Star Wars Embroidered Storybook

I sometimes wish I was a little bit more… hands-on when it comes to creativity. I don’t “create” many things other than what’s on a computer, and even though that is pretty much the largest sandbox you could ever have, it still doesn’t give you that feeling that you really created something real! It’s hard to explain really, but the crafting of things has not really been my kind of endeavor. Don’t get me wrong, creating something on a computer is as rewarding and exciting as it gets, but I think having something physical to show for your labor is probably something that every web designer or programmer is missing at the end of the day.

Childhood Heroes Go Hipster Cool In Retro

Growing up as a kid back in the ’80s was a blast since there was a flood of awesome and iconic cartoons presented to us pretty much all the time. Some of them developed their very own cult following that is still strong today and quite active. Back then, it was a constant battle between the game console and the cartoons. If they were ever to clash, deciding which one to go for was the hardest decision in the world. As you all know, as kids, we hadn’t yet fallen victim to the worldly news. As adults, that can constantly keep us under an idle spell of worry and despair. During that magical time, things were just a little bit easier, and we could concentrate on things that were not so serious all the time.

Electronical Magazine

Design studio Industrial Design 2 from Austria created a interesting concept of electronical magazine called Infinite Book. The basic idea is to combine modern digital technologies with current paper publications people are fimilar with. Infinite Book looks like two plates which have display created by “electronic ink” technology on both sides. The main feature of this book is possibility to turn the pages while reading. Schematically the full process can be seen on illustration below.

Pins Installation

Korean-born artist Ran Hwang creates stunning large installations using buttons and pins to stitch up clothes. When you look up close her creations look like a pile of pins, but from a distance installations transform into amazing images of birds and cherry blossom trees. By the way Hwang graduated from the School of Visual Arts in New York and has exhibited his work in New York, Paris and Seoul.
